A little bit about myself…

I have been fishing in lake Champlain since 1984. My passion for fishing started when I was seven years old – stream fishing for Brook Trout and lake fishing in Chateaugay for Bass and Rainbow Trout. In 1984, I began commercial fishing lake Champlain year-round for Perch. In 1988, I began traveling to Alaska for eight-week commercial fishing contracts targeting Sockeye Salmon. On my downtime, I would fish for Coho Salmon, Chinook, Halibut, Grayling and more. I continued these annual Alaskan contracts until 2011 when I shifted my focus solely to fishing lake Champlain.

In 2013 I earned my “Cost Guard Captains License” and founded “iFishLakeChamplain.com” with the goal of sharing my passion for fishing with others. I fish Champlain nearly every day – from sunrise until sunset whether I am on a charter or not. I am an easygoing person and great with fishermen/women of all ages and levels of experience.
